The Town of Sundre has been advised by Alberta River Forecast Centre that higher flows are expected on the Red Deer River beginning Sunday afternoon (June 28) and peaking on Monday afternoon (June 29).
Residents and visitors are encouraged to be aware of changing river conditions and exercise caution around riverbanks and waterways.
The Town will continue to monitor conditions closely. If the situation changes, updates will be shared through the Town of Sundre website and Alberta Emergency Alert if required.
