Water Levels Expected to Rise
June 9, 2017
The Red Deer River is expected to rise again over the next 12 hours or so. Levels are expected to be higher than they were at the beginning of the month but we do not expect any flooding. Sundre Emergency Management will be continually monitoring the levels and we will post updated information should conditions change or if there is any cause for concern.
We expect the south end of 10th St SW be covered by water again. Drivers are asked to avoid this area and residents should stay off the river banks until levels return to normal.
