Snow Removal

With the recent snowfall we would like to remind all property owners and residents that snow on any adjacent sidewalks must be removed within 48 hours of the snow being deposited.  Owners and residents are further reminded that when removing snow from sidewalks, driveways and parking lots the snow may not be placed onto any Town lands or roadways without written approval from the Town.  People pushing, shoveling or otherwise depositing snow onto Town land or roadways may be fined under the traffic bylaw.  Fines start at $100 and can include the cost of cleanup.  If you have any questions please feel free to call The Town Operations or Bylaw Departments at 403-638-4707.
