Sundre Arts Centre

The Sundre & District Allied Arts Society was formed to address the need for a practical performing arts facility in the Sundre area. After several years of fundraising, planning, and construction, the Sundre Arts Development Centre was opened in January, 1999.

This 7,000 square foot (650 square meter) building seats 180 with row seating and 145 in table settings. It has a number of amenities, including theatre lighting, a complete sound system, and a 7' grand piano. It has been regularly used to host theatre (community, elementary, and high school), festivals, concerts, recitals, dance (classes and recitals), fashion shows, meetings, and a variety of community events.

The Arts Centre is self-supporting and is administered by the volunteer boards of the Sundre & District Allied Arts Society.
